About Anuraag Singh

When the question is of the most reliable cyber expert in India for crucial and sensitive investigations, Anuraag Singh is always the first in line. With 25 years of dedicated experience in digital technology, with core expertise in cyber investigations and digital forensics, Anuraag is an established cyber expert, digital forensics trainer and serial entrepreneur. He is the Founder and CEO of SysTools Software, the company he established in 2007 to develop world-class digital forensics solutions for the global cybercrime victim community.

Born into an Indian Air Force family, Anuraag's defence background motivates him to apply his technical knowledge to help create a Cyber-Safe India. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Pune and an MCA from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Before founding SysTools, he served as a Computer Science teacher at Kendriya Vidyalaya, where his fascination with software architecture and email forensics first took shape.

Anuraag has personally solved more than 1,400 cybercrime cases working shoulder to shoulder with Law Enforcement Agencies, officers of the Central Bureau of Investigation, Delhi Police, the National Cyber Forensic Lab (NCFL), the Enforcement Directorate, the Income Tax Department, the National Crime Records Bureau, and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. He is the brain behind MailXaminer, the first certified Make-in-India email forensics tool actively used by leading law enforcement units worldwide, and MailPro+, his second flagship email examination platform.

Beyond software, Anuraag is a sought-after trainer and a public speaker. He has delivered cyber-crime investigation workshops at the Bureau of Police Research and Development, the Central Detective Training Institute Ghaziabad, the Defence R&D Organisation, the Railway Protection Force Cyber Cell, the Delhi Police Training School Dwarka, Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations, Army Intelligence, the Centre for Cyber Crime Investigation Noida, and at the Ground Zero Summit Sri Lanka and the National Cyber Crime Conference USA. He has trained more than 20,000 young Indians and police officers in cyber awareness, CDR and IPDR analysis, OSINT and intelligence gathering.

He also leads several digital-technology brands including CloudCodes, Cybersics, the Cyber Crime Investigation Research Center (CCIRC) and NetForChoice. As a Technology Evangelist, his mission is to simplify forensics for investigators, to spread cyber awareness to India's youth, and to make Indian-built digital forensics tools available to law enforcement worldwide.
